Last updated: 29 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NextStep Modern Solutions ("NextStep", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects the personal information you give us when you use this website or get in touch with us.
We are committed to keeping your information safe and handling it in line with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have any questions, contact us at dan@nextstepmod.com.
1. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our services. This includes:

- Booking details when you reserve a free 1-1 session, which are handled through our scheduling provider.
- Technical information collected automatically when you visit the site, such as your device type, browser, approximate location and how you use the pages, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiries and arrange and deliver your free 1-1 session.
- Provide, quote for and deliver our services where you choose to work with us.
- Improve and secure our website and understand how it is used.
- Send you relevant follow-ups about a conversation you started with us. You can opt out at any time.

3. Legal basis for processing
Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, when you submit a contact form), our legitimate interests in running and growing our business and responding to enquiries, the performance of a contract where you become a client, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as far as needed. These currently include our website hosting and database provider, our scheduling provider for bookings, and email and communication tools.
These providers process your information on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may also disclose information where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where they do, we take steps to ensure your information is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised mechanism.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, or as required by law. Enquiry and client records are kept for the duration of our relationship and a reasonable period afterwards, then securely deleted.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances.
- Object to or restrict how we use your information.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences and understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take the safety of your data seriously.
